In the production process of printing industry, petrochemical industry, automobile manufacturing industry, pharmaceutical industry, spray painting room and other industries, it is inevitable to use organic solvents, so it will produce a lot of organic waste gas, which will cause great harm to the human body, so RCO catalytic combustion device has an excellent performance in this kind of industry. However, it will be seen on the news that there is an accidental explosion time of RCO catalytic combustion device. Today, we will talk about whether RCO catalytic combustion device is safe? What we do for the safety of this equipment.


RCO catalytic combustion device is used to heat VOCs to a certain temperature and under the catalytic action of the catalyst, the waste gas is converted into carbon dioxide and water. Compared with the traditional direct-fired oxidation furnace, it has higher VOCs waste gas treatment effect and can reach more than 97% waste gas treatment efficiency. The combustion temperature is 250-40O0℃, because it is combustion waste gas. Therefore, we can see the news of the explosion. Usually, the explosion of RCO catalytic combustion device is related to the lower limit temperature of the explosion of organic waste gas. Under normal circumstances, the higher the temperature, the faster the reaction speed of the waste gas and the greater the limit of explosion. When entering the RCC catalytic combustion device of organic waste gas concentration is too large, RCO temperature catalytic combustion devices increases, the temperature of organic waste gas explosion lower limit value is smaller than that of the safe use, combined with the mixture of organic waste gas components in the equipment is not uniform, resulting in more local than real lower explosive limit of exhaust gas, produces the risk of explosion.


According to our more than ten years of production experience of RCO catalytic combustion device and 1000+ cases, there is no explosion, today to list the three ladder environment to ensure the safe use of RCO catalytic combustion device:


1. In the early stage of the design, the composition, concentration, air volume and other working conditions of the exhaust gas were understood in detail. The team with many years of design experience fundamentally eliminated risks.


2. PLC automatic control system is installed on RCO catalytic combustion device, which not only realizes the automatic treatment of exhaust gas and reduces labor costs, but also sets up the alarm and safety interlocking control system of light fault and heavy fault. When the tempering condition occurs, the buzzer will issue the alarm instruction.


3. Tempering control: in order to prevent tempering, the minimum flow rate of exhaust gas should be moderate greater than the tempering speed when the pipeline size is designed in the three-ladder environment. The pressure reducing valve should be set in the pipeline in the early stage, so that the intake pressure is moderate higher than the downstream gas pressure.


4. Other safety measures: use tempering preventer, diluted air and other methods
